Heroic characters! This is a fictional-only challenge - heroic RL persons are another theme in the so-far unused list. I think this should probably not be a superhero (and we've had superheroes before), but I won't disallow superheroes either, if you think they fit the theme: a character who is heroic despite the odds, despite not having any (helpful) special powers making it easier (or even expected) for them to act heroically. They can be from any medium: books, tv, movies, comics, etc. Whose heroic actions impressed you the most?
